My Name
is
Norifumi Kudeken
Previously, I worked as a videographer ( indieVISUAL ). I've worked with a range of production companies and also freelanced.
These days, my interests revolve around making tangible things and curating content that’s visually engaging and bridges the virtual and real worlds.
This website is built on Squarespace.
I'm eager to dive deeper into leveraging Generative AI, but I never overlook a fundamental principle often cited in computing: “Garbage in, garbage out.” It’s a concept I take seriously. I'm deeply fascinated by journalism and the ways information is shaped and shared. To stay open-minded —without falling into ideological extremes — I’m going to take correspondence courses in sociology, statistics, philosophy and consumer economics in October.
I hope to one day fully absorb the work of German philosopher Markus Gabriel — not just the soundbites or documentary features, but the actual texts.
Content here will span both the personal and professional, crossing genres as the mood strikes. Publishing online creates an intellectual space for me, helping instill the habit and rhythm of organizing my thoughts through writing.
Will I reach my goals? Who knows how many steps it’ll take. But if you lift a foot, gravity does the rest — “Do because you can,” that’s my mantra. Someday, borrowing a patch of my parents’ farm, I’d like to carve out a physical workshop — a personal “Setagaya Base” for my own experiments, with business possibilities in view. While I still don’t know what job title fits, I founded this site to embrace anything I can visualize — virtual or real. I’m the kind of person who does things simply because they’re possible.

Who I Think I Am
How I live and relax: Reading, web surfing, watching documentaries (philosophy, history), movies, playing video games (Switch / Steam), and researching random topics.
Self-awareness: Neurotic and sensitive. Sometimes I react excessively. Impulsive when inspired, obsessively focused when interested, and easily bored by monotony. Occasionally patronizing toward those close to me, despite my best efforts. I live in an environment that’s safely insulated from real fears or major losses.
Weaknesses: Alcohol, raw seafood, vermin, dying batteries. People who don’t seek intelligence. Those who preach diversity but impose it on others — I’d rather judge by results. People who use frivolous language in emails (forgive my bias, but I value clarity and intelligence). Those who recklessly expand their networks for self-interest, ignoring boundaries — often becoming oppressively dominant toward the vulnerable. I’ve brushed up against that edge myself, and now I can sense it. Obsessive personalities with narrow, blinkered views — life is short. Don’t approach what you don’t want; don’t even peek. Also: humidity.
Interests: Humans, Generative AI (especially Perplexity), Content Credentials, society at large, all forms of visual graphics, grease pencil, 3D modeling, journalism, and sociology, economics, and political science.
